Our baby turns 1

 I wasn't planning on doing much of anything for Wrens birthday since she's only 1 and it's the only year I could get away with that but as I mentioned before, she is every ones' most favorite thing and the kids were so excited, I knew I had to pull something together. 

 So I got her a couple little things and put them out along with some party hats and as the other kids came up for breakfast they went crazy.  You'd think it was for them. 

 I've said it before but this is the most adored baby in the world.  She has love coming from every direction she looks.  She knows it too, look at that face.  One lucky little girl.

 For the last couple of weeks Lottie has been wrapping up everything she can find for Wreni's birthday.  Those all took a while to get through.  A couple pairs of socks, a bib, a whole bunch of little notes and scraps of paper cut into snowflakes, some original artwork.  It's was pretty sweet.

She always gets so much help playing with her toys.  Good old Ivy. 

 As I was walking into Wrens room for her morning nap I called out to Lottie that she was in charge for a minute while I put her down.  This is what I found after I came out.  Lottie looks so guilty.

 After some lunch and a little kid to kid shopping we came home for another quick nap and some home made mac and cheese. 

 She wasn't super thrilled about the cake but the rest of us enjoyed it.  We love this baby more than words can say.  She is the best thing that's happened to us and to think I almost talked myself out of having another baby.  I can't imagine our family without her.
