General Conference

Conference is always a hard weekend for us.  Keeping our rowdy kids quiet-ish for 8 hours of speakers is rough but this time was actually not bad.  I was able to hear a little of what was said and what I heard I really loved.
One thing that helped was our little bowl of activities.  Usually at Conf. I buy 12 little presents and wrap them up with a picture of each of the 12 apostles on it.  This time though I didn't want to spend the money and they just got a bunch of stuff for Easter so I did this instead.  For each of the 12 apostles that spoke the kids would pick an activity and we do that until the next one.
Trains, legos, the search and find book, the bubble machine, making paper airplanes and paper snowflakes.  It was really fun and really free!
My personal favorite one though was to have John make us caramel popcorn.  He makes the best caramel popcorn I've ever had.

And lots of walks in between.
Just because we love her, here's Wren.

Caramel corn sounds so yummy. Lucky girl.

Sorry to hear about your kidney infection. Would Lottie like to come to our house for the day? Would that help you at all? Emma would be in heaven. Let me know and Em and I could come down and pick her up.
