Look at that little angel face - I am so in love with this baby. So far she is super easy going and low maintenance. She sleeps A LOT and when she gets hungry she just grunts around for a minute and then just waits. What a pleasant surprise she's been!
As for me I'm working on the 50 POUNDS that I gained in this pregnancy. This is a lot of disclosure but since this is my blog I get to be as honest as I want.... When I checked into the hospital last week my weight was 175. My goal is to be within 10 lbs. of my pre-pregnancy weight (125) by my 6 week appointment. I thought it would be interesting to see the progression so here's where we start:
1 week post birth
Today's weight : 151
Still nothing fits but maternity stuff, although my wedding ring is getting closer...
As for everyone else - they are adjusting ok. My mom is still here all the time and I don't know what Ivy will do once things go back to normal. She thinks Grandma is her mom now, and she's fine with that. Luckily we'll still get to see Grandma all the time. John has been such a life saver to me this past week too. He takes the kids out every afternoon so I can take a big old nap, and we've had aunts and uncles taking a kid or two every couple of days to play. I am soooo grateful for all the people who love me. Thank you people!!

Since you're being honest, I will be too...first of all, you look AMAZING with only 1 week post-birth! I really believe you can accomplish that goal...you always lose baby weight speedy fast...but just be careful with your milk supply...according to the "nursing your baby" book (the one from Donna) too fast weight loss those first weeks while your milk supply is being established, is often detrimental...but honestly, you'll be per-pregnancy weight by summer for sure!

She is so pretty and looks like she's doing ok in the jaundice department! Yea!!!! Oh, and you look great. I have always been jealous/amazed at how fast you bounce back after having your babies!
I loooooove all her dark hair! What a sweetie! You really do look great and what Chamaine said is really interesting....maybe that is why my milk supply is always horrible because I try to lose the weight as fast as I can. Glad things are going so well.
