Hooray!! Ivy had her first day of nursery today. I have been looking forward to this day for a long long time. She's a real handful during church lately and being able to open that door and have her just run right in was sooo awesome. She didn't even notice or care when we left.
Unfortunately though, she is in there with her big brother Charlie who she absolutely does not get along with. She starts crying when Charlie even comes near her. I don't blame her, he is horrible to her. He'll walk up and hit her or push her over for no reason at all.
But they must have put their differences aside for nursery because the leaders told me they were wonderful and happy the entire time
and Ivy didn't want to leave when I came to pick them up.

It's funny how the first week goes so well, and then the second week they catch on and freak out. I saw this happen time and time again with the many years I've spent serving in nursery. I hope, for your sake, that every other week goes just as well as the first.
