I had a check up today for this baby. Everything seems normal but when I went to make my appointment for next month they mentioned that I will be 19 weeks and need to set up my ultrasound appointment. The one where you find out what your having. What!?! How is this pregnancy going by so fast.? I'm not quite ready to have 5 kids, but this is happening. And it's happening fast! Oh and I also learned I need to stop looking at the scale at these things. I've gained almost 30 pounds! This is bad bad news...

2 things
We were at the Doctors at the beginning of the week getting an anti-biotic for yet another UTI for Lottie. We're getting a little concerned about our poor little Lottie since her last UTI was just 3 months ago. The Dr. suggests we take her to a Urologist to do a pretty invasive test to see if she has some kind of reflux problem but I'm concerned that if the test shows that she does there's nothing they can really do about. Usually girls just grow out of it, apparently. Has anyone else ever had a little girl with this problem? We feel so sorry for our poor baby girl. Still trying to decide what to do...

I had Lottie's problem when I was her age and had to have surgery to correct it. I had no clue what was going on and enjoyed the extra attention my mother gave me. My brother had just been born and was getting all of the attention, so I really enjoyed the experience since I became more important for a short time. Well I didn't enjoy all the shots and doctor visits before the hospital; I hated that part.
I, too, had several bladder infections when I was little. I also had a procedure done, which fixed the problem for me. I'm not sure if they do the same thing now - 35 years later. It must have been a generational thing because I, too, had NO idea what was going on. As a parent, I would try to be very clear about any procedure done on a child. But, I survived and, if I remember right, did not have another infection.
UTI's are no fun. Poor little thing. If I were you, I'd take her to a pediatric urologist and just look into what can be done.
And you look great! I have always admired how stylish and cute you are and you bounce back after your kids SO FAST! It takes me a year to lose the weight. So don't worry. You are adorable.
eeeee I know you think you're having a boy, but I secretly hope it's a girl. Thay way mine has a girl friend close to her age.
You look great! And it really doesn't look like you've gained any weight (excepting the belly)...so what does that mean??? You were a skinny-minny!
