Seriously my husband deserves a medal these last few weeks. I dream up things like, let's paint the entire house varying shades of gray, repaint every door and every inch of trim in the house semi gloss white, then let's buy 20 yards of fabric and make new curtains. While we're at it let's sand down and repaint all the kitchen cabinets robin egg blue and install a new backsplash. Instead of kindly declining the job he does it! We have been so busy around our house updating things but it sure feels nice to have my house reflect my style a little more. Also, I would never even attempt these things without my mom and dad. My dad was here everyday painting with us since he's the only one who really knows what he's doing and my mom took the kids all day every day we were working. I'm one lucky girl.
Speaking of luck St. Patrick's day happened and it was fun. Except for the corn beef and cabbage part that my husband insists on every year. Honestly, how can anyone enjoy that horrible horrible dish?

Um - that's quite a bit more than just "spring cleaning". I'd say you've done some "spring revamping." It sure looks great! Parents are the best, huh?

Your house looks fantstic!!! As for the "corned beef and cabbage" question, it's a big hit at our house, in fact the kids insist Marisa make it every month or so:)!
