Halloween was so busy this year. Jack and Lottie were both sick the day before. Jack threw up in the hall at school and Lottie was running a fever but they were not about to miss the morning parade. So I gave them both medicine and sent them off. Although I brought them home right after Jack's program.
The other kids LOVED the parade! They thought it was just pretty much the best part of the day.
Although I ended up getting really crappy pictures when my actual kids came around.
Directly after the parade the second graders put on a little Halloween program so we stayed watched that. Jack did awesome.
But here's my other kids through out the whole thing. Ugh, I swear nobody else's kids are this wild.
After lunch, Charlie and I went to his preschool party. He's been Darth Vader all month long so he was ecstatic to be able to wear it to school. When I found another Vader costume in the dress up closet I just couldn't resist.
He is doing so unbelievably well in school. Thanks to that amazing teacher in this picture Miss Dawnya. I could go on about her for days. I never could imagine this guy sitting in a classroom and following instructions and learning things but that is what is happening. Amazing!
That night I made a pepperoni and spider face pizza for dinner.
Then went to the ward Trunk-or-Treat. I love this activity. It's soooo very convenient.
This was definitely the highlight of Charlie's night.
We really lucked out that night because Willy and Erica came to the church too and we talked them into taking the bigger kids around the houses in the neighborhood so John and I were able to take the little girls home and get into jams. (I have no idea what John is)
After a good late night candy binge we paid the kids a few bucks each for their candy buckets and put it all in a inconspicuous bag in the food storage room. Someday we may just need that!
