John didn't have his regular Sunday meetings on Mothers Day which is like the best gift I could ever ask for! We all slept in and then ate silly pancakes. Church was nice too since my niece happened to be in town and helped us corral my kids during sacrament meeting. We were planning on going for a family bike ride and having a picnic somewhere along the trail but then our plans changed when we heard everyone else was heading over to Johns parents house.
I sure love these mothers in my husbands family.

Then Lottie surprised us all when she jumped on her cousins 2 wheel bike and took off. I didn't know she could do that. Cool!

Motherhood is funny, one minute your heart feels like it's going to burst with gratitude for these little angels that we have been blessed with and the next minute you want to throw them all out in the yard and slam the door. I guess that's the key: remembering in the awful moments that it's not always like that and that everything comes back around. I sure love all these funny kids. I know they are wild and that our neighbors probably think they are the dirtiest, loudest kids on the block (which they are) but I wouldn't trade this life for anything. I'm blessed to be a mother.
