THE END

Jack will go back to school this week and I'm soooooo ready for all the fun and excitement to end around here.  New Years was the one last thing before everything goes back to normal tomorrow.  On New Years Eve we took the kids to Trafalga in Lehi.  We got there right when it opened at 10 and I'm so glad we did because about an hour and a half later as we were leaving it was getting way to busy for my kids to handle.
Jack and Lottie loved the rock climbing:

But they loved the frog hopper more.  I could hardly watch them on this thing without feeling sick but they rode it over and over and over again.
After some cosmic mini golf we played some arcade games.
Lottie won big on this game.  She has incredible luck with this big wheel.  She wins a ton of tickets on it every time she plays.
We also really loved this smash the spider game because all the kids could play it at the same time.

Later that day we went over to my brother Kier's house for our traditional fondue night.

Cheese, meat, and chocolate fondue.  Oh man, I way over ate and couldn't sleep the rest of the night because of it but now, looking at these pictures, I would totally do it again.  I can't stay mad at fondue.
My kids did remarkably well.  We planned on hanging out until they started to lose it, but they were still going strong at 11:30 when I started struggling to keep my eyes open.  We got home just before 12 so I think that's their latest New Years ever.
This morning we tried to get the kids to sleep in as long a possible (7:45) and then once we got all fed and showered we headed over to John's brothers house in Salem for some sledding.

They lasted about an hour before one by one I was holding each of them crying over cold fingers or toes.

Jack though could have stayed out all day I think.  He and his cousin Tate have so much fun together.  As soon as we got to the hill they took off by themselves and did their own thing at the other end of the park.  This is probably a hint of what's to come for these boys and I'll be begging them to join the rest of us but for now it's just cute and fun.
And now, back to regular life.
