My kitchen has been such a bore lately. I mean I love simple and uncluttered more than anything but every time I walked into this room it just felt so boooooring.
$6 worth of fabric to the rescue. That's a little better.
Also, I have to say something about our Charlie guy just because soon he'll grow out of his lisp and he'll start pronouncing things correctly
and I don't want to forget all the funny things he's says:
and I don't want to forget all the funny things he's says:
---Every time he walks into a room he throws his arms out and says, "What's the big idea guys!"
---Each morning he grabs John's mustache wax and tells him to "make you mustache"
---He loves loves loves Batman and Robin. The old movie with Adam West. None of the other kids can handle it because it's pretty boring but Charlie watches it at least once a day. He decided that he himself is Batman and John is Robin. Sometimes John will say to Charlie, " I love you Batman", and Charlie will say "I love you Robin." Adorable......

---He calls anything from his neck to his legs his "stummy ache" Today he told me that his crackers are chasing his cheese into his stummy ache.
---In the midst of his destruction, right when I walk in and see it whatever it is he's done, he'll look at me and say "Mom, everything is going to be alright." In fact whenever I'm especially tired or frustrated or overwhelmed he'll put his arm around my shoulder and tell me that everything is going to be alright. Such a sweet boy.

I love this little boy. He sounds so cute. Those are the wonderful things to remember and for me to hear about. Thanks Brielle
Those sweet little boys just melt your heart. Charlie is adorable. Tate has always been my sensitive one...in fact last night he went on and on about how he was going to help poor people when he grows up to be a millionaire. He even told me that when I died he would bury me in his own personal graveyard on his mansion grounds. He actually started crying while telling me this. :)
I should hire you. I, too, recently tackled a curtain project, but sadly mine didn't work out as nicely as yours. I'm gonna' have to do some unpicking and redo one of the panels. The catch is - I've already hung it and I know myself too well - once it's up, it will be a long time before I get motivated to take it down to fix it. In the meantime, I'll just have to be tortured every time I look at the uneven sewing job. Boo. Your kitchen looks great!
