Ok - doing things with my kids is wonderful and but it's also horrible at the same time. They all love the water but none of them can swim and all of them like to be touching me at every opportunity. There was a minute when John had run off to get life jackets for them and I was in the semi deep water with Ivy flipping and flailing around, Charlie diving out of my arms and Jack and Lottie running up and out of my sight to do a water slide.
HEART ATTACK.
But then my parents and my nieces and nephews showed up and everything got a whole lot more fun.
John and I didn't get to do any of the water slides but the kids did some a couple times with their big cousins.
And, Ivy was in heaven all day. Lots of people, lots of food and no naps. She is such a pleasure lately.
Charlie though was not so fun. It seems like there must always be one kid who doesn't want to do anything but cry when we go places. Charlie was a real pain in the neck until he finally passed out .
Seven Peaks was fun. I probably won't go again with the little babies, but I might take Jack and Lottie back. Or just John and I, now that would be fun.

Cute swim suit, Brielle! I get the absolute heart attack near water...that is why we only stay at the toddler pool...we do not venture elsewhere...too scary!
Ryan and I have gone by ourselves to Cherry Hill and we've also gone with couples in our ward. It is so fun racing another couple down watersides, kid free. Love the kids but it makes for a great date night without them.
Brielle, I have to just say that I absolutely love your blog. You're the best mom 'cause you're a real person, you're funny, you do things like make matching dresses for your daughters and run races in mud and kiss on your kids cheeks all day. I just think you're fantastic. And seeing you and your husband at JCWs was rad. Keep it up lady.
