Dirt

This morning my mom and I started pulling a few weeds out of my vegetable garden. Next thing we knew we had dug up the entire thing and since we were already all dirty we went ahead and made a lazy river.  Endless fun for my little kids. 

 These two pictures were taken by Jack.  Pretty good right?

 I love days spent out in the yard.  Some days all we seem to do is rotate from tv to computer to ipod back to tv, and on and on.  I love putting muddy kids in the bath and laying down their exhausted bodies at the end of the day.  I'm also really glad I happened to clip Jack fingernails before I took this picture.  They were really gross.

 

I've been working on getting a cute picture of Ivy since her birthday is next week but all of her pictures look exactly like this one.  If I am anywhere nearby, especially if I on the ground, she must propel her body onto my lap and burrow her head in my gut.  She's only happy if she's touching me.  Makes it hard to get a decent picture.

It's very flattering and sweet but seriously, kind of a pain sometimes.  I'm sure I'll miss it later though.
