Wow - really bad Easter pictures this year. This was the best we could do though. After a super busy Saturday we woke up and had a quick Easter breakfast with our baskets, then went to church. After church we took these pictures, changed our clothes, and left for our little Moab trip. More about that tomorrow.

Ugh, Lottie pouting, Jack holding some dumb toy, Charlie in the middle of a tantrum, and me super annoyed at everyone for making this so difficult. Family pictures are ridiculous.

"Imperfect" family pictures are all just part of the story. My little brother was horrible with family pictures. My mom fought with him until she just gave in and now we have two family pictures with him holding a wooden stake in one and his Hot Wheel collection in the other. No wonder my dad HATES family pictures even to this day. These two pictures are so memorable for me - I hardly remember any other ones. We talk about it and laugh now. But, as a mom, I usually have a clenched-jaw-smile saying, "just take the picure already, will ya!?" under my breath. Good times.
