First serious injury

It was only a matter of time for this guy.  I'm actually surprised it hadn't happened sooner.  John and I were at the hospital getting an X-Ray on my foot from an injury a couple months ago when my mom called with the news.  He was running through the living room and tripped and hit his head on the side of a bench.  He was remarkably calm the entire time.
We took him to our family doctor and they had to numb it which was horrible.  The worst part.  But then while we waited for his head to get nice and numb he just relaxed on the table eating candy.
Then he had to lay completely still while they put this sheet over him and stitch him all up.  I lifted up one corner of it and talked to him about what we were going to eat for lunch after we were done and he didn't move an inch.
He likes to talk about food almost as much as he likes to eat it.
What's funny is that when John was about 2 he tripped on a table and cut his head on the exact same spot, same side of his forehead and got 6 stitches too.
Isn't that just adorable?
I can't believe in the 5 years we've had kids in the house this is the first time we've ever had to rush one into the doctor.  We have been very lucky so far.
But then we had Charlie.

Poor Charley. Watch out John cracked his head open within the same week. I love how calm Charley is.

Oh ouch! If he's like Tate he'll do it again at age 4. That's so funny him and John got stitches in the same spot. I'm glad he was calm throughout the whole thing though...what a guy.

Ouch! Poor Charlie! I am impressed that with so many kids so close, this is your first injury...good job, Momma!
