A word on my third born:

Charlie's first true love in this life is food.  He's loved food from the minute he was introduced to it.  I remember when he was a baby we would grind up whatever we were eating and give it to him and we would usually have to refill the grinder 3 or 4 times until he finally got full.  He wanders around the house all day looking for food handouts and if there's nothing available he'll eat out of the garbage or just whatever crumbs he can find on the floor.
He only knows a handful of words at almost 2 years old but about 90% of them are food related, cheese, eat, snack, cookie, hot dog, milk, apple, toast, banana, lunch, juice, you get the idea....

The other things he loves are his shoes and his "bike".  These two things are with him all day wherever we go.  He takes the tractor up and down the porch steps, in and out of the house all day.  And he will only take his shoes off to get in the shower and as soon as he gets out he won't stop whining until he gets them back on.  He even insists on bringing them both into his crib and sleeping with them.  I don't know how sleeping with shoes on, on top of a tractor can be comfortable but Charlie's just like that.
He also loves to have fun.  He is completely happy wherever he is, whoever he's with.  One time we were at a restaurant with Johns family and me and my sister-in-law took all the kids to the bathroom to wash hands and left Charlie with Johns mom.  She said he was standing right next to her while she was ordering and when she turned around she saw him sitting on the other side of the restaurant in the middle of this huge Mexican family, trying to get some of their fries.  They said that he just walked over to them dragging a chair and sat down.  Charlie's like that, he loves everyone and everyone loves him.
When I was pregnant with Charlie the Dr. had some concerns about him so at about 15 weeks when I happened to be in Utah my dad gave me a blessing.  In that blessing he said that Charlie has been known throughout the eternities as a healer and that he would be a force for good in my life.  In the short time we've had Charlie in our family I have seen that to be true.  He gives everyone he comes in contact with such love and acceptance you can't help but be drawn to him.
The only thing that can rival Charlie's adorable-ness is how down right mischievous he is.  But that's a post for another day.

That is so sweet. What a cute little boy. Isn't it great to have a kid that eats though? So much better than one who won't eat anything at all. I love your family!
