Alie comes to town

If I'm really lucky I get to see my sister and her family once a year.  Although, I feel like we're pretty involved in each others lives since I talk to her on the phone like 6 times a day, but this week she's in Utah and it's awesome.  They got here on Sunday so that night we all met at my brothers house for our first ever family talent show.

We all got ready and took our seats.
My brother had even built a little stage area
And everyone got to perform their talents.  It was so much fun.  One niece showed off her art work, another one played the clarinet, another one recited poetry, my sister-in-law ate an entire doughnut in 3 seconds.  My family has never done something like this before and it was so much fun.  Hopefully a new tradition.
I gave John the only thing he's ever really wanted- we sang a song together.  He only ever wants me to sing with him but singing in front of a big group of people is not my thing....but he promised me he would do something really wicked awesome for our anniversary next month if I would- so I did.
Now looking forward to our anniversary.
