Alie comes to town: Day 3 and 4

What do we do when our husbands go and shoot clay pigeons and old paint cans for 6 straight hours?  We get mani's and pedi's of course.  It's been a while since I've had my nails pampered and it was nice to do it with my sister.  The kids ran around my mom's house making messes for the rest of the afternoon as we waited for the boys to come home.  When they did we put the kids to bed and all went out to dinner and a movie.  We saw Transformers 3 in 3D at the dollar theater and I was so glad it only cost us $3.00.  Alie actually fell asleep in the middle.

Today was Alie and Tovey's last day here.  After changing plans a million times we ended up at Tovey's mom's house.  She has a whole bunch of really fun toys to play with but in the end all the kids really want to do is run around chasing each other in their bathing suits, so that's what we did.  How do kids run and run all day long and never want to slow down?  I'll never understand.

By the end of the day the kids were starting to go crazy, running into walls, hitting each other, and once Lottie peed in her pants for the 5th time we decided it was time to say our goodbyes.  I think it's actually a blessing to have the visit end that way because it makes it easier to have to leave.  I miss my sister.  I wish we could live closer and raise our kids together but Utah is closer to Oregon than Indiana is so I consider myself lucky.
