We have a baby!

This was my most favorite labor and delivery so far.  I went in at 6 and they started the pitocin.  I got the epidural at 7 and at 8 my dr. broke my water.  John and I watched the most recent episode of Modern Family and I took a little nap while John went and got himself some lunch.  At noon I was at a 6 and by 1 I asked the nurse to check me because I could tell we were getting close.  I was at a 10 and the baby was just about out.  About 5 minutes later my dr. was there and with 1 contraction and 2 pushes she was out.  It was heavenly.

What I love the most about having a baby is the way my body is instantly relaxed and comfortable after they come out.  The heartburn, the pain in my legs, that stuffed sausage feeling - gone.  It's euphoric.  We celebrated with Cafe Rio and my favorite carmel ice cream.

She is so cute, Brielle! I hadn't checked your blog in a long time (I didn't even know you were pregnant again, that's how long it had been) I just had my 6th baby on May 1, so only a few days before Ivy was born. Oh, and I'm jealous of the fact you have another girl...my count--one girl and FIVE boys! (and I'm pretty sure we're done)
