Best Weekend Ever

Photobucket
We were super excited Friday morning when Johns parents called and said they would be stopping by on their way home from Washington D.C. We cooked, we stocked the freezer, played outside. It was heaven for everyone.

The timing couldn't have better either since Jack was giving his first talk in Primary.
I remember my sister-in-law Jen making the her kids talks into a little book so that it was easier for them to do it themselves and so we can keep it forever. Jack loved his talk and almost memorized the whole thing. He did awesome and we're so proud of him.

Also, we stumbled across the best garage sale ever.
A whole stack of these old stories and records. I remember loving these when I was a kid. Best part was they were 10 cents a piece.

And, a nice vintage sewing machine. It looks like it's never been used. It works like a charm and my mind is reeling with all the projects I can make. Price for this $10.

Score on the books and records. WE have a record player and a few of the books and records...so envious that you found them!
