She is very funny. She is constantly laughing at her own jokes and asking me if they are funny. Her favorite joke of all time is a knock knock joke about a pineapple climbing a tree and eating a banana. She made it up herself and she laughs about it all the time. Her other favorite thing to laugh about is when Scooby said "scooby doobey bar b quey". It just kills her every time..
She is an awesome eater. When you're a mom of 3 toddlers you know how much that means. She eats everything on her plate no matter if it's spicy or boring or too hot or too cold or too green. She just eats and usually thanks me profusely throughout the meal for making it. She loves fruit and would take a banana or strawberry over just about anything else and she eats otter pops three at a time.
She loves to sleep. At nap time she begs me to take her to her room where all I do is give her a kiss and she's out for 3 hours. Now, bedtime at night is a whole other issue but nap time is a dream. She sleeps everyday and night with her "blankety blanket" her baby, her ellie, her pink sippy cup of water and she's just added a little purple train called Rosie to the group. So when I tuck her in all I can see is her eyes surrounded by her little entourage. I've tried convincing her that ellie and baby and rosie want to sleep in the closet but she says "no they love me, and baby gets fussy at night."
Lastly she can talk really really well for a 2 year old. She can talk as well as Jack who talks as well as me. It throws people sometimes because she's just as tiny as can be. This morning she was going into some serious detail about how she wanted her bread "just a little toasted with some nutella on top and then some cinnamon and sugar sprinkled right on top of the nutella.." "that's right," she said "nutella aaaaaaand cinnamon and sugar"....."both"......."on my toast"
But luckily, just to keep her grounded she's been cursed with duck feet. Short and wide. There is not a shoe on earth that fits a Lottie foot. At least not at Target, Old Navy, Meijer, Payless or Kohls which are all the places I took her on Saturday looking for shoes.
I love Lottie, duck feet and all.

I love the pre-school activity you did. I need to look into more creative ideas for the kids. I guess I've just been waiting for things to slow down around here, but they aren't....so I better get on the ball. Lottie is such a beautiful girl. Did she just get bangs?
Lottie sounds a lot like my Madeline. They even look a lot alike, just different ages. Thanks for featuring her and letting us Utahns get to know her more. We really miss out having you so far.
Don't worry, I was the "Brain" in our family but look who has the "Doctorate"!!!
Your kids are beautiful and you are doing a great job!
