For the love of Garage Sales

You know what I just love more than almost anything else? Going for a lazy Saturday morning walk and finding that it's our neighborhood garage sale day. Garage sales are a big deal in our little town. I've bought all my kids clothes, most of our toys and a whole bunch of cool platters and pictures frames and gadgets at garage sales out here. This weekend Jack found his new skate board which I personally think he's way too young for but he almost passed out when we found it at the bottom of a box of Lego's so how could I say no?

Best of all though is Charlie's new Bumbo. I've meant to buy one of these every time I have a baby but they are $40.00 new. That just seems exorbitant to me. But on Friday I was having a particularly hard day and John said -- just go out to Target right now and get some new lipstick and a Bumbo for Charlie. I bought the little tray too so it came to $47.50. But we found this little one a garage sale for $1.50. It was the best find of the day and look how happy it makes him:
