Making it through dinner for dummy's
Here's our latest attempt at getting through dinner without tantrums or time outs. John spent a good 10 minutes, while I finished up dinner, going through the plan with Jack. Every time Jack started to whine or get down from the table we'd say, "uh oh, Jack look at the map. Crying is going to get you straight to the bath." (which I say every night but the picture helped for some reason.)
But it paid off in the end and we all got to have our first homemade ice cream of the summer.

What is it about 2 year olds?.!. It looks like Jack is getting old enough to be reasoned with. Sean is at the stage where he is smart enough to tell us what he wants and talk to us, but not able to be reasoned with. I look forward to being able to bribe him one day.
wow they really do look a lot alike. I like the map; good idea! I was just thinking how crazy it is that we haven't seen you guys in over a year. That's a long time! I'm excited for august.
