--Thinking about home--
John grew up with lots of land to run around on and lots of fruit trees to eat from. Here in Indiana we had to drive 25 minutes to see this goat and buy some apples.
There's lots of things that we really love about this area but the fact that Jack could not be talked into getting on the horse for a ride around the barn really bothered my husband. "I don't want him growing up not knowing how to saddle a horse or pluck a chicken" he says as Jack walks up to the donkey and kicks him in the leg.

Cute baby goat! I am sure that as Jack gets older, he'll be better with the animals...it is a phase, I bet! It is kinda funny that he kicked the donkey! ;-)

Sam said he never did pluck the chickens, but he remembers john doing it. That's funny about the donkey!
