Charlie turns 5

Oh this boy.  Charlie is such a hilarious person.  He was beyond excited to finally have his day and it was a really good one.  I was sitting in my bed and he came strutting down the hall and into my room with his birthday hat on his head and said.  "Mom, yesterday I was 4 but today I AM 5!!!"  He had a Star Wars birthday this year since he lives and breathes for Star Wars right now.  He is completely consumed.
He spent all morning on his Grandma date with Grandma Donna where he apparently told everyone he laid eyes on that yesterday he was 4 but today HE IS 5!!!!  Then he went to school and it happened to be their Thanksgiving feast day so he had tons of fun.  I picked everyone up from school and we went straight to the pool in Orem.  We figured the kids would love it since it's cold and we haven't been swimming for months.  Boy was that a hit.  Even Wren loved it and she's hated pools every time I've tried it.

Afterward we went back to Grandma Bonnie's and had dinner.  He wanted spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and ice cream for dessert.  So I made all that beforehand and it was all ready for us when we got there.
Happy birthday Charlie!  You fill our home with life and we love you so much.
