Survival mode

Wow, it been a crazy 4 weeks since Wren came along.  I knew it would be but I'm never quite prepared for how completely life changing bringing a new baby home is every.single.time..Those first two weeks were a dream and I was able to rest a lot since all she ever wanted to do was sleep.  Now though she is starting to wake up more which means she's starting to cry more.  Also, she gets to have baths in the living room with everyone helping.
She hates it but we all think it's the most fun thing ever.
Also, in the middle of everything Charlie (and my mom) decided he was done being a "small boy" and he got himself all potty trained.  He's done remarkably well.  He really never has accidents and he doesn't even wear a diaper at night.  I thought I would never see the day!  The only thing is that he has about 10 pairs of super cool Batman and Superman and Green Lantern and other super hero underpants.  But he loves them all so much that unless we make a big deal about it he'll wear them all at the same time.  Ten pairs of underpants at once is really hard to pull up and down when you need to go but he works it out because he can't help himself. Such a funny boy.

I've been meaning to do another update on the weight loss battle but I can't seem to get this girl off of me--like ever!  She will be completely asleep so I'll carefully unwrap her and lay her in her bed and within minutes she is awake and screaming.  Once I strap her back on she is immediately fast asleep again.  Not that I'm complaining, she's so adorable and tiny I'll let her get away with it for a while longer.  So I don't know how much I weigh but I do know that my wedding ring finally fits.
That was a really really really happy day!

Your wedding already fits!?! That's AWESOME! It usually takes me a few months...and it is a BIG day! I will leave the advice-taking to Shauna as we will not being seeing 5 kids...not with this old momma! P.S. Love Ivy's pony in her hair - yay! And bathing Wren in the living room - great way to include everyone!

Now you look Mozambican. I am bringing home some great Capalanas for you to use and you will look that way even more. Except one thing is missing....Their babies usually have their milk supply readily exposed so they only have to lift their head to take a drink.
