A Sunday Afternoon

Sundays can be tedious around here.  No one naps after church even though I beg and bribe and sometimes it feels like Sunday afternoons can go on forever.  Today John and I decided to head up to Salt Lake and visit Temple Square.  Did you know all the museums are open on Sundays?  What a fun afternoon!

Right after this picture was taken though John and I got totally bamboozled by our kids.  Lottie specifically asked to ride down the escalator to see a certain exhibit.  Then they all separated just enough to make it impossible to stop them from riding it up and down and up and down and up and down again.  Now, thinking about it, I bet it was awesome to see us trying to grab this one before they boarded to go back down while quietly whispering threats to that one like "you wait right there if you know what's good for you" and "don't you dare get back on to go up again" but even with our threats we all went around and around and around those stupid escalators for a good 10 minutes.  Awesome..

It looks like you guys had the place all to yourselves. I'm taking a mental note to go on Sundays from now on.
