Done and Done

Do you ever feel like you're just checking stuff off the list this time of year.  My kids have all these things that they want to do in order to call the Christmas season done and I'm just trying to keep up getting them all done.
The gingerbread house was one of them:

Polar Express night and getting out the train:
(the book was read to us by Lou Diamond Phillips via you tube, I highly recommend it)

This isn't Christmas related but it's just the coolest little gadget I've bought in a while.  We were having a real lighting issue in the boys room since Jack likes the light on all night and Charlie likes it dark.  I found this little light at Ikea in the Christmas section and it is so cool.  It's the perfect amount of light and the ball rotates all night so it gives the boys something interesting to look at while they're falling asleep.  We all love it!
Here's what it looks like when we're playing with our camera.  If you need a nightlight get this one!  I need to make the trek to Ikea this week to get one for Lottie.

If you are going to Ikea, I need to get a couple of the black magazine holder thingy's. (Maybe some Santa pillow covers if they still have them.) Call me when you go, if I'm free I'd love to tag along or maybe you could pick them up for me and I'll pay you.

That light thing looks awesome. Was it expensive? Maybe you could pick some up for me too ;-)
Love all the "Christmas" things you "get" to do. My kids are the same way. Hope you have fun with the snow!
We are having a neighborhood social tonight in front of our house: firepits, hot chocolate, Christmas caroling, etc. at 7pm. Please come if you can!

Our train has never worked from the get-go, so we don't set it up...the light is cool.

My favorite picture is Charlie.
I love it.
Hey did John go get his Neck taken care of?
I hope you both feel better soon.
