12.12.12

It was not a good day.  My kids have one by one contracted this horrible plaque that includes coughing attacks, fevers, and lots of crying in my room in the middle of the night.  Today I finally got it.  It's horrible, I feel like death and I can't take any medicine.  But the very worst part is that my kids are for the most part better and don't really want to let me lay around and nap all day like they did. To make matters worse I have officially moved past the cute little baby bump phase into the puffy, out of breath, waddling, haggard and worn phase of the pregnancy.
I've had to stop sleeping here:
And start sleeping here:
The more I think about it the more I think 5 might just be a good place to stop for us.

I am sorry you are so miserable. Wish I could help.It is the worst to be pregnant and sick?
Is it strep?
Is whooping cough going around there?
I hope none of these apply.
You are in our prayers everyday, each one of you.

We don't know what it is. For Lottie they found an ear infection, for John a muscle relaxer for the headaches, they couldn't find anything on Charlie and I didn't take Jack in. Weird. We're just looking forward to you guys coming home and reinstituting the overnight play days!

I sure hope you guys didn't get sick form me. I've been sick all week and finally have energy again today. Sick and pregnant isn't fun, but I cant even imagine having little kids to take care of too.

Oh! The life a mother leads. I know now is not the time to say it but one day you will realize it IS worth it. No-one sacrifices as much as a mother. I was listening to Truman Madsen and he quoted one of the earlier prophets who said 'If all a woman does is care for her husband and children she has inherited the celestial kingdom.' Meaning the great sacrifice she makes.
Pres.Monson would say,'When you feel like you just cant do it any more, Hang on a little longer. Your family needs you'
I love you all.

I don't know how you've made it to 5. After three full term pregnancies I don't know how much more I can take. We'll probably stop at 4. You're a trooper. Especially with how bad and uncomfortable your legs get.
