Sports Camp

We've been at Sports Camp this week at the Rec Center.  Jack did this last summer and was a little frustrated by the end of it by all the things he couldn't do.  He couldn't make a basket, he couldn't hit the ball, he couldn't kick into the goal.  Plus, I was a little concerned about his lack of social skills.  I remember sitting on the side lines last year watching him look like a deer in the headlights the entire time.  So painfully shy.  I thought to myself that we had some real work to do before he was going to be ready to enter Kindergarten.

This year though has been a different story.  I put both Jack and Lottie in and they have been doing so great.  Jack can now do all the stuff he couldn't do last summer.  More importantly for me though I've been able to watch him laugh, and joke around with other kids, and play.  He's had so much fun.  What a difference a year makes!

Charlie has been having a hard time with it though.  Whenever I get busy with Ivy he slowly sneaks his way onto the gym floor and before I know it he's next in line to shoot the basket or he's huddled up right behind Jack thinking no one will notice him.  Yesterday I had to run out and grab him while he was setting up t-ball with one of the coaches.  I said, "come over here Charlie" and the coach said, "oh, he told me his name was Jack."  Nice try Charlie..
Today, while I was taking this picture below of Jack and Lottie I noticed a familiar pair of shorts right up by Jacks head.
I zoomed out and saw this:
I guess the sneaking phase is past and now he's just going to weasel his way into a coaching position.
