Groupon Baby!

A couple weeks ago I snagged a Groupon for a Thanksgiving Point family membership.  I've been thinking about it for a while now so when I saw it I had to have it.  Seriously though, I have GOT to stop buying groupons.  I have a whole stack of things I've bought and haven't used yet.

Anyway, we planned on going to the splash pad up there today but they were having the Princess Festival (dang it) so we did the gardens instead.  It was b.eautiful.

The view from above the waterfalls was especially fun since every once and a while the water would spray you and make everybody scream.

It was hot though and some of us don't care for the heat.
Others of us just tear our shirts off and run into the sprinklers.  Take that closed splash pad!
We stopped and fed the fish for a long long long long, long time.

Then we walked through the Rose Garden, and the Monet Garden, and the Fragrance Garden, and the Butterfly Garden and then the kids where really hot and really tired.  Words cannot describe the joy we all felt when we peeked our heads into the Secret Garden and saw this fountain.  They tore off all their clothes and started getting in.  We restrained them to just feet dipping which I'm sure isn't allowed but how could I say no.  They loved it.

I love love love Thanksgiving Point.  We spent half the day today and didn't even do a 4th of what our new membership gets us.  Can't wait to go back!
Just a cute boy.

Back when Mercer was about 4 years old we were walking through the gardens and stopped to feed the goldfish. But then we realized we were feeding goldfish crackers to the goldfish and it just seemed wrong.
