It's been almost 2 weeks since I've been on here. That's a long time for me especially since I usually take pictures every day, so here's the humdrum stuff my camera has captured since last time.
Jack finally earned his mom date. That means he was able to collect 10 stars on his staying in his bed all.night.long chart. All night being from the moment I say good night until the next morning no sooner than 7:30. It took him a long long long time to finally earn it but he did-----and off to breakfast at Mcdonalds we went. Now we're working on another 10 stars.
My first attempt at making those felt flowers head pieces that are all the rage in Utah right now. They turned out ...........ok. The girls could be persuaded to keep them on exactly as long as it took to take this picture. Neh, why bother...?
After going a long long time without a tv of any kind in the house we decided to buy my brothers old flat screen and his Wii. My kids were beside themselves with joy. I've even enjoyed it and lost 1.5 pounds on the Wii fit. We still aren't going to have any tv reception or cable but we do just fine with Netflix. Mom nap-times are back at our house- thank you television!
Last week a friend of my sister and I's got married so Alie came to Utah for the weekend. It was a blur of activity smashed into 3 days. My husband was awesome and took care of the kids so that we could go off and do stuff and the wedding was really fun.
It was a vintage theme. Can you tell?
Can you believe my sister is 8 months pregnant? We carry our babies very differently.
Then I got sick. I had been feeling kind of achy and tired all day but I figured it was just whatever my kids have been dragging around for the last 4 months. But then on the way to the airport I realized this all felt very familiar. After I had Lottie I got a kidney infection. It was the only time in my life where I've seriously contemplated death. I was so sick I didn't think I could go on. Luckily I caught this kidney infection on day 2 just when the fever and vomiting and back pain started and got a shot of Cipro in my hip and oral antibiotics right away. Also, last time John couldn't take any time off work so I was dealing with this alone. This time I've been able to get a lot more rest so I'm getting better. I spent all day today out of my bed so that's a really good sign.

I am sorry you have another kidney infection, but for us it brings back memories of your other kidney infection. The one in which Jack placed your sleep mask in a very strategic position which rendered it useless as a sleep mask. We think that is one of the funniest pictures we have ever seen. (Am I remembering right? Was it during your last kidney infection or just a random play time?)
HA! Suzie, I had forgotten all about that sleep mask and it's very strategic position. I'll have to go through the old pictures and find that one again and show it to John. I miss that little Jack.
