Valentines day came. Kids make holidays so much more fun. We decided to make this Valentines day a random act of kindness day so we tried to find nice things to do all day.
We handed out flowers to everyone we saw, the mail man, the checker at Target, our piano teacher, the receptionist at the Dentist. It was really fun this year.
It was their first time at the Dentist - can you tell?
They both did awesome. No cavities and no tears.
We had a special dinner that my kids of course whined about and choked down.
For desert we tried something new. We dipped balloons in melted chocolate, then when the chocolate hardened we popped the balloons and filled our little chocolate bowls with pudding. I love Pinterest!
Then our dishwasher stopped working. There's nothing more romantic than washing and drying a mountain of dirty dishes with your husband right?

I have sayings that I change every month and try to live by for that month. This month's was 'random acts of kindness and beauty'. What a cool coincidence that your Valentines went along perfect with that! I want to pass out flowers to people next year.....what a fun idea! Good job to jack and lottie for being so good at the dentist. I've been meaning to set up an appointment for my kids forever. They have never been either. Love those chocolate cups. We did the same thing with ballons and wax to make lanterns for the YW....great idea.
that your husband did the dishes WITH you is romantic!!! can't tell you the last time mine did 'em and we don't have a dish washer! :) My Love has his strength but dishes are not one of them, sadly ;)

I am so thankful that you Young mom's are teaching your children to think of others. There are way to many 'But, What about me?' children and adults in this world already. You are awesome. Glad you are back on your feet and hope your dishwasher gets working soon.
