It's a little different now what with her being pregnant with her 4th baby and me having to stop and pump every 4 hours for mine but the magic was still there. We got toffee nut steamers from Starbucks every morning and we'd get another as soon as they ran out through out the day. We hit a bazillion Goodwills' and found some really cool clothes. We did a little Christmas shopping and we ate really good food. Anything that sounded good anytime of the day or night we would eat. (i gained 3 pounds in 3 days)
I have to mention our husbands though who are both amazing for allowing us to do this. Tovey had my bed all made up when I got there with a little chocolate on the pillow. He would make us whatever we wanted to eat. He took care of their kids so that Alie and I could go and play all day. He was awesome. John too, he slept with the baby so he could feed her in the night. He kept the kids fed, and the house put together and he even managed to make up a huge batch of refried beans so now our freezer is stocked. My mom too, I know she helped out ALOT.
I had so much fun in Portland and I'm excited to make this a yearly before Christmas tradition with my sister. More pictures on my sisters blog. After John picked me up at the airport we hung out in Salt Lake for a while and then went to the Mates of State concert at 9. I forgot that when rock and roll shows say they'll start at 9 that actually means 11. I was so tired I thought I would pass out but the show was really really awesome. We hung out and talked to them for a while afterwards so by the time we got home it was 2 am. John and I are waaaaaaay to old to be doing that. But sometimes a magic weekend is just like that..

Like I've said before, "there's nothing like a sister."
Looks like a lot of fun - plus, spending money to boot!!! WOWEE! Sisters are the best! You'll have to show me your finds at the goodwills...Portland looks so pleasant and calm...have you ever thought that you and John would like to live there one day?
What fun!
Looks like a blast! I love the hats you're wearing on your and your sister's blog. They are adorable! Did you find them in Portland or did you already have them? Glad you had so much fun. Although I've only been there once it makes me miss Portland.
