John turned the big 3-4 on labor day. He's not the biggest fan of growing older each year so I tried to make it a big happy party day. I have pretty much the best brothers in the whole wide world and one of them brought all 5 of his super huge slip and slides to a park in American Fork and we slid the day away.
Then we had a B.B.Q at another brother's house. I made John a chocolate cake that blew his mind. Just imagine this, homemade chocolate cake filled with cream cheese whipped with heavy cream and Nutella, It took 2 cakes to fit all 34 candles. I'm excited for when John is 50 and it takes 3 cakes.
Like I've said before though, Ivy hates it when I eat chocolate.
In other news Jack started Preschool today.
All he could remember were the fruit snacks and recess time but I'm sure other things happened. In those same 2 hours though I was able to clean up the birthday aftermath, load the dishwasher, mop the kitchen floor, organize the toy room and take a little nap. I think school is going to be awesome for both of us.

Sad we missed the big day....looked like tons of fun! Happy late b-day to John! And Yay for pre-school! I couldn't believe how much I got done too while tate was away....awesome!
