We made it! To celebrate the last 3 months of crying, spitting up and a very very tired mom we had a 3 month birthday for Ivy today.
The kids made party hats and cards for Ivy and then had a little dance party.
We had cake with chocolate frosting which I will paying for later since Ivy seems to get especially throw upy when I eat chocolate.
And we talked about how much life has changed since Ivy came along and how we still don't really know who she is in there. (by the way, John doesn't now, nor has he ever worked for Coca-cola. he gets asked every time he wears this shirt. He got it from his brother who I think got it from DI)
As her special gift at 3 months we put up this cutest ever mobile my sister made which Ivy seems to love. Isn't it adorable? I saw it at a store one time and described it to my sister and she recreated it for me. She can just do things like that.
We love our Ivy and her happy, sometimes intense little spirit. I wouldn't be the same without her.

I think maybe my two kids (that are 7 years apart) are still pretty happy. Just sayin.
I'm not so sure we have as much control over our family size as we think. But as I look at my children's lives, I am sure that the children they have, are the luckiest children on this side of creation. I am so impressed by my grandchildren, their creativity, compassion, and talent, and the wonderful reflection they are of their parents best attributes. All that is asked of us is that we love one another. I certainly love all of you....Dad/Grandad.
You're a great mom, Brielle! Look at the fun times you create and document!
Ivy has gotten so big! I love the mobile your sister made too! Isn't so good to have your family back? I think the week they were gone was the worst week I've had in a long long time. I missed them like crazy and then I had to go to youth conference. Enough said.
I can't believe your sister made that. Wow! It's so cute.
