because she's as thick as a brick
I really feel for Lottie because she came after Jack who is pretty astonishing sometimes. Yesterday we were looking at a farm animal puzzle and I asked her what this animal is and she says --horse. Good job, I say--what's this? Pig, she says. Yes Lottie, what's this one? She looks puzzled for a minute and then says---a rainbow!
Um, no....try again.
She thinks a minute more and says----a worm! No Lottie it's a cow. That's right, a cow! Honestly what are we going to do with this lady?
