I have a theory about babies: I think the more laid back their personality, the longer it takes for them to reach those "baby milestones" that we all stress about. For example Lottie started sitting up at 4 1/2 months and started talking at 9 months. Look at her now, she's like a wild caged animal. Charlie on the other hand is nothing but smiles and sleeping. But here we are at 7 months and he still hasn't figured out the whole sitting up thing. He'll stay up for a minute or two, or as long as I'm sitting right next to him but as soon as I get up he's down. I'm not too worried about it because I know he'll get it eventually but it sure would make my life a lot easier to be able leave that enormous car seat in the car where it belongs.

Oh my goodness, im so with you on that one! Our babies are only days apart (daisy was born on the 21st) and she too is the calmest baby, and isnt sitting up yet! When i read that line about the car seat I thought 'WORD!'
