Here's how it goes every night:

Lottie: Good Night Mom
Me: Good night Lottie
Lottie: Good night
Me (leaving the room): Good night
Lottie ( a little louder): Good night
Me closing the door: Lottie, Good night
Lottie (sounding desperate): Good night!
Me ( getting frustrated): Good night Lottie!
Lottie (getting frantic): Good night!!!!!!!!
Me (really frustrated, walking downstairs): Lottie, GOOD NIGHT!
Lottie (running to the top of the stairs): MOM GOOOOOOD NIIIIIIGHT!
and on and on and on

I never thought I would hear myself saying
STOP SAYING GOOD NIGHT LOTTIE!
IF YOU SAY GOOD NIGHT AGAIN
I"LL HAVE TO LOCK YOUR DOOR!
