Two nights ago we moved Jack and Lottie into the same room to make way for the baby. I know anyone with more than two kids is rolling their eyes that this is a big deal for me but it is. I've been dreading it for a long time since Lottie is a perfect sleeper and Jack is not. But it had to be done and so far it's been nothing at all. The first morning they both woke each other up at 6 which was rough but today it was better-7ish.
The best part though is hearing them talk in there. This morning Jack was telling Lottie all about his dreams last night: silly frog and grandma and fruit snacks and his bike.
Agh, the cuteness kills me!!

Glad to hear the big move was mostly successful. We have a good sleeper in the same room as a not-so-good sleeper, and the good sleeper is not phased in the least bit. I guess if you are a good sleeper that you'll continue to be one, no matter who is in your room with you. As a mom I know the feeling - when something works you are hesitant to "rock the boat".
What fun siblings are!!!! They are going to love it. What a cute picture of Jack and Lottie.
It is tough when they wake each other up but you're right, the conversations are so cute. Carter even will ask Kate if she needs to potty and then take her and help her up on the toilet. So stinkin' cute.

Some of my most precious memories are those of lying in my bed and listening to my children talk and visit and laugh together. Belive it or not there was a time we had 4 maybe 5 in one room. Oh those were the days. I would sit on the floor with them all in their beds and read stories in the dark.Enjoy>.
