That's what TiVo is for. Our kids were all over us too. I believe Elder Bednar in the Saturday morning session talked about consistency. He said having the kids pay attention during family home evening and prayer is not as important as the consistency of doing those things. He related it to the brushstrokes of a painting. Each one individually means nothing, but all together they make a masterpiece. I TiVoed that talk and just watched it kid-free. Don't ask me about today's conference that I tried watching with the kids. It's all on TiVo and I will re-watch it and actually learn something when the kids are in bed.

Brielle,
I made the birthday t-shirt with a freezer paper tutorial on somebody's blog. All I did was print out a huge number 3 (I used word and a huge like 275 point font) and then I laid some freezer paper over it (freezer paper is like waxed paper that's waxy on one side--you can buy it at the grocery store). Cut out the freezer paper 3 with an exacto knife. Then you iron the stencil you made onto the t-shirt (waxy side down) and then paint it in with fabric paint. Pull the stencil off carefully while the paint is still wet and WA-LA! it's done. Let me know if this didn't make sense. Super easy and fun.
