Did I mention my husband is now 32? Someday I'll be in my 30's too, that will be weird..

We went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway because there isn't a whole lot that's "cool" about Indiana but we do have the Indy 500. It was a fun museum and we even got to go for a ride around the track. I bet it would have been even more fun if I've ever seen the Indy 500.

After all that we went and bought a new kitchen table for John's present. I swear he was not talked into that. I even tried to convince him to get something totally extravagant and selfish like an I-touch or prescription sunglasses but my husband just isn't an extravagant guy I guess. New rule though:

NO BUYING FURNITURE ON BIRTHDAYS.

No one should have stay up until midnight assembling things on their birthday. It just isn't right.
