So he cried for about 10 minutes while saying, "mom, what's wrong with my arm?" It took off the entire top layer of skin pretty much the size of that bandage and then after we had iced it and sprayed it with the burn stuff he started asking why his face hurt. I hadn't even noticed he had gotten it there too. Once I iced that he said, "I think some desert would make me feel better." That was it. He's hasn't complained about it since--except whenever I change his bandage which is tramatic for both of us. Today I almost passed out looking at it.
P.S. The peach cobbler was DELICIOUS!

Oh my gosh!!! How traumatic!!! Emma touched our outdoor fireplace once and it nearly broke my heart. She is scared of it now.
