Almost 7 months

Photobucket
Some things I'm thinking 7 months pregnant with my third....

1--pregnancy seems to have lost all it's charm and excitement. I mean I'm excited that there is a baby in there but the pregnancy part that I used to enjoy isn't as cool anymore.
2-- my left leg can't bend because of vericose veins. I think with my next pregnancy I'll have to wear those special support tights.
3--I can't help but wonder if this will be the pregnacy that forces me to lose my regular body forever.

That makes me sad..and the fact that it makes me sad makes me feel selfish.
I'm conflicted.

The cool part has run out because you are getting bigger and are probably tired. Keeping up with 2 toddlers not being pregnant is hard, let alone being pregnant and doing it. For the veins, I've never had that problem, but I'm sure it will get better once your done being pregnant and swelling stops. Now for #3, my vote is no, this will not be the pregnancy to push you over the edge body wise. You look great and you'll go back to looking great! Hang in there. I know it's a slippery slope at this point, only getting bigger all the time but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Don't feel selfish--IF you do lose parts of your old body, it will be like loosing a friend. You'll get over it and get used to the new body, if it even happens. Also, I am only on my second pregnancy and have been feeling less excited about the actual pregnancy. Sometimes I'm down right irritated by my pregnant body. Not the baby of course...I CAN'T WAIT to see him. But the pregnancy part I could definitely do without. So much so, I sometimes wonder if there will be a third! But that's 39 1/2 weeks talking. Ask me again in 2 years. :)

You look great. I have never seen someone bounce back from a pregnancy faster than you have. You have such cute kids...cant wait to see what #3 looks like.

I agree with everyone else. You bounced back and looked super after your first 2, you'll be fine!!! I am excited to see what this little one looks like too!

You haven't lost your old body yet??? My old self was gone with the 1st pregnancy. As for varicose veins, it runs in my family. My Dr. told me that the first 2 pregnancies get the veins started and they show up with #3. My mom got all of her worst ones with me (I am #3). I wore those support hose with my third pregnancy and I am happy to say that I don't have any varicose veins! My legs are the 1 part of my body that hasn't changed from pregnancy. I don't know how you feel about wearing used hose, but I will send you mine if it doesn't bother you. I paid a LOT for them!

ew. I had to wear those compression hose when I had my blood clot. I refused to wear them on BOTH legs in the hottest part of the summer so I cut off the left leg and just wore the tights on my right leg. It was still awful. Good thing I never went anywhere - I'm sure my one-legged-hose looked really funny. (They ARE expensive, aren't they, Jen?)

You should wear the support hose now to keep it from getting worse and yes, I think the third pregnancy is the one that does the body in for good. sigh
