In the buff

At the store yesterday I bought our first watermelon of the summer. It wasn't very good--mostly because I really don't know how to pick a good one but we really really enjoyed eating it. You can't see me but I'm as wet and sticky as these two. Although, unlike these two I don't strip all my clothes off as soon as we go outside. Does anyone else have a hard time keeping clothes on kids?

Katy was a nudist as a kid. No matter what she had on it always came off. Your kids are super cute in the Buff.
Mercer is the opposite. He doesn't even like to swim without a shirt on. The other day he came running up to me saying, "mom! There are boys down the street with NO SHIRT ON!!!" I guess maybe we hit the modesty issue too hard :-)
How cute! That's so funny...it made me laugh. Yeah Tate doesn't mind running around in a diaper, but he doesn't usually take off his clothes if they are already on. But if sam is about to jump in the shower or something and Tate sees him he says, "Daddy, need your clothes on". So he's pretty adamant about his parents being modest :)
I have really been struggling with getting Sean dressed lately. Today he only wanted to wear his dinosaur jammies (We had to take him out in public wearing them). A couple of weeks ago he wore nothing but a onesie to a funeral. I was so embarrassed and felt like trailer trash. I am sure he will be running around naked all summer.
No, we've never had the nudist issue with the kids. I just don't think it has really ever come up. My kids just don't think of stuff like that, I guess. It looks like watermelon finger painting.
What fun with a watermelon.
