One night I crawled into bed at about 1:30 am after spending 4 hours cleaning out our old apartment and I whispered to John---"If we somehow do get our deposit back can I have it all for whatever I want?" He said "of course" and then it was forgotten for almost 2 months!!! Yesterday, in a pretty white envelope it came---haircut and color here I come. That doesn't ruin my 30 day spending fast does it? Also, here's Jack singing the ABC's....plus a few mixed up letters and some confusion at the end.

I think hair cuts and color (if you color your hair) are part of cleanliness. You still go to the store to buy food right? And soap for your family? So I think a hair cut and color are fine during your spending fast. Plus, it will help you feel better about not spending money because you will look good! Good for it! I actuall can't wait to see a picture of your cut. I was thinking of snagging a few of your photos to take with me next time I get a cut. But alas, my hair dresser lives 2 hours away. I hate having to find someone else to trust with my hair!
I think you will appreciate the whole experience more if you wait out the full 30 days. :)
yeah haircuts are a must.That's exciting! Love the video! Jack is really good. It's funny Tate can get through most of this song, but he has the end down perfect if anything and when he saw this video he looked at me like 'that's not right' and then he finished the end to the song for Jack. They would compliment each other. Tate doesn't always do so good with the letters :)
