My mind starts racing---he could take the garbage to the dumpster, he could put all the empty Christmas decoration boxes back in the storage closet, he could take the car in to get the tires changed and while he's at it he could get a new windshield wiper and an oil change. He could help me clean the bathrooms, or he could watch the kids while I aimlessly wander around Target for a few hours. The possibilities are endless!!!!
Well, he didn't have to do any of that because at promptly 9:02 this came-----
Side note for any Twilight fans--read this--even John who hasn't seen or read Twilight (or has any desire to ever do either) thought it was pretty funny.

Very cute, those look different than the ones you showed me. I'm glad you got them in brown. Way to go John.
So cute! I love the shoes; you have one nice husband. Maybe I should let Sam read this and he can pick up a few pointers :) No, I would be the same way though.......if sam does something really nice for me I usually think I should let him be free of chores. Oh yeah and I loved the monkey puppet you made with Jack. How fun!
I love all of the things that you thought up for John to do because I am the same way. You probably thought of all those things in just one split second, right. Love the shoes!
P.S. I love your blog AND I love your new shoes!
Alie was a MAJOR influence to get me into the whole "blogosphere" (How else can I see what the little ladies are up to?) and I haven't yet graduated into creative/unique blogging :)
All I can say is ADORABLE!
dig the shoes...what brand?
Very sweet of John. Super cute shoes. Does the note on the box say "Merry Christmas"? How did you get to open it early?
I'm such a tard...the brand is on the box right? WOW....
Super cute shoes, I loved the Twilight screenplay...and was that my dear, cousin Shauna in that You Tube video?? It was the most inspirational thing I've seen in a long time.
Shoes are great. Thought the screenplay of twighlight was dead on for the books. It was so funny.
Ohhh. Those are cute. However, I think he should still let you wander around Target for a few hours :)
Nice work John! The shoes are adorable!
Also, the screenplay was hilarious! Eric D Snider is in my book group and we have bantered heavily about the Twilight series, but I hadn't read that yet.
