I loved to show this video to people on my mission for the same reason I showed it to my 2 year old. It's short, (5 min.) simple, and really poignant. Jack loves this video. He's seen all the other Christmas classics (Frosty, Rudolph, etc) but this is his most favorite and we watch it probably 50 times a day. If you've forgotten about this video, try it out again. It's wonderful!!

Don't ever throw a very sharp knife into a sink of soapy water and then reach in. I thought I already knew this but it seems I don't.Lastly: pancakes--I actually hate pancakes. They are almost always soggy and over sweetened and make you feel gross for the rest of the day. But a couple years ago John and I were experimenting with pancakes and came up with something really delicious. If your feeling like pancakes tomorrow morning try this out.

2 cups or so Bisquick (John is a purest but we find Bisquick is functional and fast)
1/2 cup plus a little more milk
1 egg
a few tablespoons sugar (like maybe 3)
1 mashed up banana
a whole bunch of vanilla
a dash of fresh grated nutmeg
We also find they taste better in the shapes of letters. Preferably the letters of your name.

Happy Wednesday!

Great idea; we'll have to show the movie to Tate!
