CONFESSION: Brown Cow
I haven't seen my natural hair color since I was probably 12 or 13, so it's been a good 15 years of bleach. That's a lot of bleach. So recently I decided to go dark and I have to confess it's changed everything. Am I being over dramatic? No way!! Suddenly I'm more interesting, more creative, more credible and most importantly more healthy. (at least on my head) I have to start wearing a different color of lipstick, and I'm pretty sure I need a new wardrobe too. My husband opinion still hasn't changed though----"it's just so dark..."

You have been dying your hair since you were 12??? So is brown your real hair color? Ryan had white hair as a kid, but it has gotten darker as he has aged. His hair is now a light brown. I bet that your natural color is pretty close to Ryan's since you both look so much alike. I hear ya on trying to be more credible. When I was the ward activity leader, I wanted more respect from those I was leading. I cut my hair really short thinking that it made me seem older and more sophisticated. I don't lead anyone these days and am back to my long hair. So what is the difference between a blonde's wardobe and a brunette's???
I think it's probably is Ryans haircolor or something like that. As far as the wardrobe--I don't know what the difference is but I'd really like to find out!
Vern, if you'd like suggestions on the "ideal" brown hair color girl wardward just take notice of me....
I really really really like it. You look great!!!
Oh I forgot to say. Welcome to the dark side.
Hey thanks for the comment. It's good to hear from people I haven't been in touch with since we graduated. You look like you have a wonderful family. Congrats!
I see two healthy looking girls! You look great brielle. It's funny how a haircut or color can make you feel completely different.
Thank you for embracing your natural color! I've a friend who's been bleaching her hair forever now, too, and she just doesn't get it! Your entire face is so warm now and your eyes really stand out! Let me know how you convince John to get you a new wardrobe...I haven't bought anything new since I started teaching (that was a decade ago)!
Oh, I forgot to say that I love your scarf. I bet the new crafty brunette made those flowers.
I already told you that I like your new and darker hair but I thought I would say it again....Hey, I really like the darker hair. It does give you a more health looking glow!! I also think it is funny that when you get a new cut it makes you feel better. I was reading the other comments and when I got called as the 2nd counclior in the RS all week I was looking for dresses that made me look a little older and more sophisicated. LOL!! Girls are funny!
