VCR

JC messed with our VCR all morning. I heard him in the other room muttering in frustration under his breath but didn't think much of until I heard him say "HOLY COW" What JC? I say. "HOT DOG" he says. What JC? I say. "Oh Man" he says. Ok, I finally come in from the other room and say "What are you doing?" JC says, "come here--see this piece of exposed metal right here? put your tongue on that." Now why on earth would I do that, and why did he do that?

Anyway, turns out tonight is the season premier of Heroes and he has to work late. Since we are probably the only household in America that doesn't have Tivo or DVR or even cable for that matter, JC dug our VCR out of the storage closet to record this tonight. Does anyone even remember how to tape something off TV? Does the TV have to be on? Do we have to have the VCR and the TV on the same channel?
